Legends and homies alike made their way out to RVCA's headquarters Friday night to welcome Christian Hosoi to their ever-expanding team. A heated bowl jam ensued, in honor of Ivan "Pops" Hosoi's 75th birthday. Add to that some artwork by Mark Oblow, tunes from Tommy G, free grub from Pizzanista and complimentary cold ones from PBR and the locals were in for a treat!

The stars came out for the LA premier of “Saturdays,” Birdhouse’s first full-length video in ten years. Bros, babes, the Bird, proud parents and Clive Dixon turned pro! Where were you?!

After days of heated practice, the Van’s Park Series Women’s Finals kicked off Thursday with 16 women battling it out for the seven remaining spots to the finals in Shanghai. —Joe Hammeke

The Vans Park Series is back in Huntington Beach once again, but this year with a little twist to the format. Adding a continental championships to both the men’s and women’s divisions with a winner take all trip to the finals in Shanghai China. With over 80 entrants it was a long battle on the beach to earn that top spot to the World Championships. —Joe Hammeke

Those two-wheeled machines on display commanded attention, but the heavy action was the four-wheeled assault on the vert ramp. From young bucks like Ronnie to the OGs Cab and Bucky, this session was revved all the way up.
