Remembering Phil Shao
20 years ago we lost Phil Shao. He was tragically killed in a car accident while back on the road after rehabbing his knee from ACL surgery. He embodied the archetype for modern day "all terrain" skating with 110% raw power. Style and brains eternal, we love you Phil Shao! —Bryce Kanights -

Spitfire Wheels' "Ecuador Hellride" Video
Old crusty spots separate the men from the boys. Parque de Carolinas in Quito, Ecuador has been there for 40 years. It ain't going nowhere. I took the best of '97 there and it went off—cops, broads, beers and busting. The next time I went 20 years later, the kids that grew up with the mag wanted some Eccy juice. Took the now dudes and, needless to say, Hellride was on, "Rocky Mountain Way" all the way. —Jake Phelps -

With a cast of characters that P-Stone knew and loved in attendance, the revs were at an all-time high and the skating and hijinx were top shelf. Thanks to everyone for coming out and keeping it PMA! Stone is smiling down, no doubt. —Joe Brook -

Curtis Hsiang: 18 Years Ago Today
If you read this, understand: the person who you are today is because of the people you grew up with—simple fact. When someone passes on to the next, take a knee and remember that today is a gift and tomorrow is not a promise. Curtis Hsiang was as raw a skater as I have ever known. He gone now, but I can still feel him in my heart. Eighteen years ago today we lost an angel. —Jake Phelps 1/8/18
