As the world is on time-out, Dime and Vans join forces once again. Crowd or no crowd, winter or not, it became clear that there was only one reasonable option: build and ride a giant roll in on a frozen lake. We’re not sure how to describe what went down but one thing is for sure, ice skating has never looked so magnificent.

First one out, Bryan from Dime

This thing is no joke

With no way out, the crew starts padding up

And it’s on!

Conor breaks the ice with a knee slide

Next on the ramp, Ian Clelland tries his luck

Perfect nollie flip incoming...

...scratch that

“That counted, right?”

Let’s run that back

And there it is, a perfect kickflip!

Big shoutout to Seb of Skateboard Ranch in Nominingue, the ice was NHL quality

Maybe less speed will help?

Nope!

Max makes it over two boards (interlocked)

Alexis Lacroix, starts with a boneless

And follows up on sub-zero nollie heel

Then a ski-stance roll in

Wow...

Bringing even more heat, he hits a high-speed 360 flip

As the snow accumulates, Alexis asks the impossible: “Can this thing go higher?”

So the crew builds a second extension

Bryan tries to dry the roll in. This is an uphill battle

In the end, Alexis disregards everyone’s advice and wraps up the day with a coffin
